Biography
Professor of Physical Chemistry and Surface Science. Dr. AlShamaileh got his B.Sc. in Chemistry from Yarmouk University in Jordan in 1991. Then he went to do his M.Sc. degree in Chemistry and got it in 1996 from the University of Jordan. He received his Ph.D. in Chemistry from Dublin City University, Ireland, in 2002. After working in Ireland for two years as a postdoc, he joint the Chemistry Department in 2004 and is still there since then. He taught most general chemistry and physical chemistry courses for undergraduate and postgraduate levels. So far, he supervised and graduated over 10 PhD and MSc students
Research Interest
His research interests lie in the area of electrochemical corrosion and surface studies. He has over 40 peer-reviewed scientific publications in various journals
